~~ July 4, 2004~~  4th of July Gathering in University City

We decided at the last minute to have another BBQ to celebrate Independence Day. Last year we had a ton of people over for the festivities, but this year the group wasn't nearly as large. Jen and Chris Stevens were out of town and Chuckie couldn't make it in. Since the invitations went out so late, most folks had already made plans. Maybe they remembered the heat and burnt Brats from last year and decided there has to be a better way to spend the 4th. Our group was small but the weather remained benign and the food was excellent. It was a fun time.
