For the St. Louis region it's a rare thing to experience a 4th of July that isn't blistering hot and humid with afternoon and evening thunderstorms.  The 4th fell on a Friday this year and not only did we have a long weekend but we had some mild weather to go with it.
We spent the 4th having dinner with friends and watching the Riverfront fireworks that night.  We spent our Saturday with Arnie, Rebeccah and the kids.  A beautiful day, the kids were in a terrific mood, a terrific meal, and a great time by all.  Here are some pictures from that day.
