Chris and Katherine were the first to test the water at the Lake.
Beaver Lake is a quiet and relatively commercial-free lake in northwest
Arkansas. It's a nice spot for swimming, boating, fishing and
scuba diving.
In the outdoors, the lake
waters were the only cool spot around. In spite of the heat, we
played tennis almost daily and golfed once.
Rather than eat out with
the whole crowd or heat up our rooms, we bbq'd outdoors most of the
time. This time, Cherie and Garry were the chief cooks.
After dinner, a quiet
moment in the air conditioned comfort of our cabin.
The adults gather for a group shot.
It only looks like Cherie
and Karly are getting hitched. This is in in the town of Eureka
Springs. Unless you like a crowd of tourists and "Kountry
Krafts", this is a place to avoid (authors opinion).
We reward Jennifer with a
group picture (same as below) for taking on the role of a big sister to
Kat and Chris.

Tree".
Cherie and the kids floating in the lake trying to stay cool.
More floating activity. This time Karly is
supervising.
Cherie on her boogie
board. She refused to share it.

A snapshot across the narrow end of the lake.
Garry and Chris trying their luck from the shore.
The "wild bunch"
posing in western garb. What can you say?
