Spring Break 2008 - Little Charlie comes for a visit
Charlie got to spend part of her Spring Break with Grandma and Grandpa. We all know how stressful 1st grade can be, and Charlie was hoping to spend her break on a beach in Jamaica, but got stuck with a St. Louis visit instead. We squeezed a lot of activities into her four days with us, but Charlie has a lot of energy and is insatiable when it comes to "doing stuff". She spent time with cousins, activities at home with us, and on trips to the Science Center and the Zoo. On Wednesday afternoon, we handed her over to Mike and Lois (her other set of Grandparents). Her parents and brother Clayton dropped her off on Sunday. They spent the day with us Sunday but headed back to Columbia leaving the munchkin behind.	Monday morning, we went to the St. Louis Science Center. A great place for kids of all ages.	Grandma took her shopping later that day. Here she is modeling a new outfit for us.	Tuesday was non-stop action! It started with a visit from McKennah and Eva. Cute pic, eh?
Carla dropped the girls off and their Mom picked them up later in the day. Here they are baking cookies.	Everybody likes Grandpa's "death defying" back yard swing. These girls are fearless. Here Charlie gives little Eva a boost.	Next came the bead stringing craft project. Everybody got into the act.	Here the girls are modeling the fruits of their labor.
Later that day, we headed out to Chesterfield where Charlie hooked up with cousins Summer and Allison. We got back home late and Charlie was glad to see her bed. It was a full day!	Tradition calls for a trip to the zoo with Grandpa. Here at the Childrens petting zoo with the goats.	Charlies favorite stop! The giraffe compound. After a zoo train ride and lunch at McDonald (Charlies choice), we headed back home	The hand-off to Mike and Lois. I think the munchkin had a good time.
