A Trip to the Lake of the Ozarks (September 2006)

At the invitation of our friend Marla, we took a short trip to the Lake of the Ozarks to visit with her and Betty. We stayed at a beautiful timeshare home at the edge of the water. It was after Labor Day and the Lake was quiet and serene. It was good to just hang out and relax. We took walks and I even accompanied the ladies on an "extended" shopping spree. I discovered that they sell soccer stuff down there too. Bonus!

The evening after our arrival at the Lake. We're chillin' with some snacks and drinks.	The three lovely ladies.	The weather the next morning was just beautiful! Here Marla is enjoying the reflection of the morning sunrays on the nearly still waters of the lake cove. No boats, no loud sounds, just the song of birds and the sound of gentle waves lapping against shoreline rocks.	Cherie and Marla catching up on the latest while enjoying that second cup of morning coffee.	After breakfast, we made a stop at Betty's Condo. It is located right at the water's edge and has a beautiful view of the lake.
	Surrounded by the beauty of nature, the comforts of some nice digs, and a couple of lovely ladies. Ahhh... Life is good!		A last look from the screened in deck across the lake. A beautiful and serene spot.
