Marla and Gary come for a visit - April 7, 2008
It was snowing the day Gary and Marla made the trip from Central Nebraska into St. Louis. It would have been nice for us to provide some warmth and sunshine but instead we served up torrential rains and some more spring flooding. We did manage to get out for some morning walks, trips to local eating establishments, and a get-together with other friends. The weather finally came through for us on day 3 and we took the opportunity to visit the City and the Arch. Click thumbnail to enlarge. The sun was peeking through and we ventured out for a visit to the Arch. The grass was already green but most of the trees were just beginning to bud. Here part of the group poses by a blooming dogwood tree.	A planning session at the base of the Arch.	Across Memorial Drive, the Courthouse lawn gets it's first mowing of the season.
