A Trip to Southern California for an Anniversary and a Birthday celebration - Oct '06

Cherie and I had an invitation to join my Brother-in-Law Mike in Southern California for a Anniversary/Birthday celebration. It would have been his and my sister's 51st anniversary and his 39th+++ birthday. No matter the reason, it never takes too much arm twisting to visit SoCal at this time of the year. The weather did not disappoint, nor did the pleasant company. We met Mike's friend Anita, and had the pleasure of hanging out with George, Brian, Lorie, Jeany and many of the friends that came to the party. Unfortunately, Mike's brother Joe was not able to make the trip.

The reason for our journey documented on this lovely (and very tasty) cake.	Mike and Anita! Anita is a lovely person and we are glad that Mike is no longer alone.	Some of our favorite people! George made the trip from Hammond, Louisiana and Lorie and Brian came all the way from Montana to be here.	Cherie and Anita posing just before the other guests arrived for the party.
