It's nice to have someone in the family in the airline industry. We manage a 3.5 day getaway to San Juan Puerto Rico . The weather in St. Louis was horrible when we left, and when we stepped off the plane in San Juan we were greeted by sunny skies and temperatures in the 80's. This was our first trip to Puerto Rico and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Beautiful scenery and very friendly people. We'll be back.

The view from the hotel balcony. It was 84 degrees here and 17 in St. Louis.
The view to the other side. This is just one of several old forts that surround the city.
On our way to the "Castillo de San Felipe del Morro", a large fort built to keep out British invaders and others. It's always breezy here, and locals and tourists fly kites.
Inside the walls of El Morro. The US Corps of Engineers and the Park Service have done much to protect and restore this impressive structure.
You can't go to Puerto Rico without spending some tourist Dollars in Old San Juan. We did our share.
When in Rome... I bought this "Panama Hat" here and wore it back to St. Louis. Strange boy!
