June 21, 2003 - A trip to Columbia

The purpose of our trip to Columbia was threefold.  We wanted to visit with Chris, Jenn and the kids, see our old friends, the Guariglias, and play soccer in the 2003 Missouri State Games.  This was the "Senior" competition with participating teams from all overe the State of Missouri.  Our St. Louis team came in at second place.  A good showing for a team that was put together at the last minute.

Great minds think (and dress) alike.  I wore this shirt on the way up there.  Wayne thought it looked familiar.  He thought I might have raided his closet, but found his after some searching.  Good looking guys!

Clayton exploring the tree house late in the evening.  The girls have pretty much outgrown this source of entertainment, but solid Oakstone Construction and occasional users like Clayton will keep this structure around for a long time.

Haley keeping an eye on Charlotte.  It seems like it was just yesterday when Haley was that size.  She's grown into a beautiful young lady.

We all enjoyed a wonderful meal.  Donna made a great desert.

The next day.  The Old guys are out on the field to play "The game of their lives."  Cherie, Chuckie and Donna came out to watch and cheer us on.
