TEARS, LAUGHTER, HUGS and KISSES
This was a very special Holiday for our immediate family because of Cherie's fragile health and the prospect of future holidays without our Wife and Mother.
Christopher and Jennifer drove in from Denver and spent the week with us. They had lots of quality time with their Mother and with their Brother and Sister-in-Law who returned from a Mexico trip on Tuesday.
On Thanksgiving Thursday we gathered at Arno and Rebecca's home. Paul drove in from Columbia but Allison and Summer were visiting in Florida and Philadelphia respectively. We had a wonderful non-traditional meal that even had our cancer patient going back for seconds. There were lots of hugs and laughter, some tears as well, but more than anything, there was an appreciation and thankfulness for the opportunity to spend the day with Cherie.
A Thanksgiving to remember.
Always look on the bright side of life...
