Looking out of our window at the Jockey Club overlooking the Bellagio, Caesars Palace and the Paris Hotels and Casinos
It's been a while since we've had the opportunity to visit with our Friends, the Camengas. They drove up from Riverside, California with their family, while Cherie and I flew in from the frozen tundra of St. Louis to visit and have a little fun under the sun. We did a lot of walking, very little gambling, too much eating, and enjoyed a great show at the Paris Hotel. We only stayed a couple of days and even though it was great seeing our friends, I was glad to escape the glitz and hype of "Sin City" and return to the sanity of our Midwest Home.

Cherie and Karlyn in our room. We traditionally play a round or two of scrabble when we get together and this trip was no exception.

With Garry and Karlyn
Garry (mostly) and Arno (some) cooking breakfast for everybody. The ladies were kicking back.
Chris and Katherine seemed to survive the breakfast without suffering any permanent medical problems.
Karlyn and Chris
We pose at the Venetian Hotel. Katherine took the picture.
This time both Katherine and Chris got into the picture. We should have asked a passing tourist to take a pic of all of us together. Heavens knows, I must have done that for dozens of Japanese tourists.
A look back at the Eiffel Tower. A bautiful day with perfect blue skies and daytime temperatures in the 60s. It was great to be able to slip away to a warmer climate for a few days.
