We celebrate Christmas 2003

It seemed like a very "busy" and stressful holiday season for us.  The family gatherings lacked the presence of Grandma and Grandpa Stehlick, both of whom passed away in 2003.  We had the usual Stehlick/Henry family gathering at Carla's house on Christmas Eve and all met at Arnie's home on Christmas Day.  All three of our granddaughters were there, and Leslie's parents made the trip up from Florida.  Being around those three girls will lift your spirit and this occasion was no exception.  Seeing them enjoy the day was worth the hassle leading up to the day.   Take a look at some of the many pictures that were taken.

Before heading out to the family gathering on Christmas Eve, we joined hundreds of others to watch Summer and company put on the annual Christmas play at the church.  Good job Summie!

Cherie and Shirley arrived at the Henry's sporting some fashionable jewelry from Poppy's.  This was Christmas Eve.  Unlike last year, we didn't have to navigate snowy roads to get here.

Chuckie immediately grabbed the best looking girl at the gathering.

McKennah soon tired of Chuckie and busied herself unwrapping her presents.  She loved the wrapping paper more than the toys.

All that excitement proved too much for her and she soon crashed in her grandfather Kent's arms.

Cousins Amy and Ariel enjoying some of the wonderful food and each other.  We've got some good looking girls in this family.

Later that evening we stopped by at Arnie's where we were greeted by Jennifer and her family who had just made the trip from Columbia.

Ted and Gail made the trip from Florida to be with Arnie, Leslie and the girls.  The glasses in front of them are not all theirs.

Arnie looks a bit tired already, but Allison is still going strong and offers up a big, toothy smile.

I don't know she managed, but Leslie did it somehow.  The house was beautifully decorated with Christmas items, a scrumptious Christmas meal was served, and guests were made comfortable.  She still looks pretty fresh here.

Christmas Day was sunny and relatively mild.  Here we are again at Arnies to exchange gifts and partake in a meal.  Back on the Christmas menu by popular demand... Mexican Food!

Allison got a Mia Hamm soccer outfit.  Her sister Summer can't help but admire the fashion statement.

Shirley is being treated to some professional hair styling.  Allison is testing out her newly acquired grooming kit.  Shirley's hair used to be perfectly straight before the treatment.

Cleaning up after the gift exchange.  It's a dirty job but somebody has got to do it.  Here Leslie and Allison are getting the job done while at the same time training for the Olympic "Synchronized Vacuuming Event."
